• UBM Japan continues to monitor the developments of the Novel Coronavirus. The safety of our customers and staff is always our top priority. According to a communication from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare on 3 February, the Novel Coronavirus infectious disease is not currently recognized as an epidemic in Japan. The Ministry advises the importance of hand-washing and proper etiquette when coughing or sneezing, as well as taking measures against colds and seasonal flu.

In preparing for Sea Japan 2020 next month, UBM Japan will implement the measures recommended by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the World Health Organization (WHO).

 Measures to be implemented:

・ Installation of hand-washing disinfectant and instructions

・ Establishment of a first-aid room

・ Encourage all participants to wear masks
